Another from my recent photoshoot day. This time a couple of WW1 guys, one ours and one yours! Both on the same side fortunately. We did have some of the opposition there too but I canโt process them at present (grumble, grumble). Some of the scratching is my freehand and some is an overlay. Your critique is welcomed.
Wonderfully done. I like the details like the rifle and the hob-nailed Boots. He is holding the pipe at the perfect British angle.
Those hobnails are what I wanted to feature in this shot - and the pipe is certainly a nice touch. Having smoked one from the age of 18 until I was around 60, I appreciate the niceties of a properly balanced pipe. Many thanks for your comments Curmudgeon.
I am awed by your skill in creating a content-focused piece with such attention to significant detail and with seamless lighting and scale. A real joy to look at. All the technique helps make it very moving emotionally.

Not a lot of work from me in this one Bob, the two guys rocked-up at the right spot and adopted the right pose. Even the rifle is down to the soldier fella. All I had to do was get on the floor (easier than getting up again, I must admit), and then pp the poster and scratches. The pipe smoker had several outfits and proved very easy with the cameras. Thanks for your generous comments.
