My computers blown-up! Well, it won’t boot-up for love nor money. I’m seriously fed-up, as you might imagine - especially since I recently swapped the hdd for a ssd at no little expense. Anyway, enough of my woes. Keni’s recent post, either here or in FYC, I don’t recall which, cleverly used some motion blur to produce a great woodland shot. It reminded me I had only recently made a couple of images using this tool. Excuse the slightly poor quality, these are taken from emails on my iPad as I cannot access my files right now (spits out some more blood!) - I don’t use cloud storage. Your thoughts on these appreciated.
As an afterthought - for those interested, Papplewick is the venue, a Victorian water pumping station.
Quite effective in lighting, composition, and, in the last two, color. It's a joy to be able to suspend belief and immerse myself.

Good to see you a Bob. Glad you like them. Is the first one a bit bland?

I'm happy to see your work. Being banned from For Your Consideration saddened me, as most of the photographers I liked, learned from, and depended on for good crits were there.
Yes, I thought the color, especially of the lettering in the first one, looked too soft for the intent of Judge Dredd.

Ah, yes, I take your point - should have been bright red! Despite having four kids I was not aux fait with JD. I consulted my 39-year old son, who explained who the characters represented. I’ve now caught on that JD is some sought of destructive vigilante.
