Kodak released 120 and sheet film Ektachrome today, apparently will become available on 12/20. Merry Christmas to MF and LF users!

Amazing news -- would love to hear from MF & LF users why they want it and how they will use it, for reasons other than nostalgia.

I still shoot slides (ektachrome mostly) for reasons other than nostalgia. It’s my best shots because the SLR is what I first put in my hands 48 years ago. Love digital, but if I really need to capture something important I go back to what I know best.

One of my last film projects was made on 8 x 10 Fuji 100. It was for a multi image composite billboard. It was cheaper to buy film at about $300 then to rent a hi-end Phase One digital back. I shot 8 x 10 Polaroids to proof the shot! I doubt if that Polaroid film is still available, also if any chrome films are made in that size, and we also lost our last 2 hr. pro lab.
