He was standing behind me on the risers during dress rehearsal for Sunday's Christmas concert so I was only a couple feet from him.

Z6/Tamron 35-150 ISO 3200, f/4, 78mm, 1/100 sec.

Great expression. My attention is split between the two gentlemen. Would like to have seen only the gentleman in front. How is that new Tamron 35-150mm? I've been seriously thinking about purchasing it for my D750.

We were standing on risers during a concert dress rehearsal when I took this - totally a snapshot but I rather like the matching expression on the face of the man in the background. As to the 35-150 - I really, really like it!! It's been on my new Z6 for over 95% of the time and has been used for just about everything. The combination of the two give very nice low light performance which is the main reason I upgraded to FF and I'm a very happy camper!

Here's a night shot with the only light being that reflected from a nearby bandstand and a bit of street lighting. f/3.5, 1/40 sec, ISO3200. I'm sure my technique needs some improvement but it shows the capability of this duo.

It looks excellent. The Z6 seems to have really low digital noise. With a lot of cameras, one would see a lot of chroma digital noise at ISO3200. The Z6 seems to be very clean at high ISOs.

It really wasn't a critique - we were discussing the Tamron 35-150 lens and he simply made a comment about my sample showing what it could do in very low light when paired with the Z6.

I think possibly Mr. Shapiro posted twice - once for your original photo and once for the second photo. I'm not sure. Maybe request a critique.

It was just a casual shot of a friend - no critique needed!
