This young man # 35 has some lifetime memories. The 1st is an interception to keep the game tied. State Semifinals
All shot with A D500 & 70 - 200mm 2.8 all wide open ISO 800 SS 2500 - 3200

Your pictures would improve greatly if you cropped tight. Crop out everything except the action between he two players, everything else takes your eyes off the action.

Again I can't say enough about everyone wanting to crop tight. You will most defiantly degrade the photo. Get it right in the camera. Let the action come to you. The 70-200 is good like if your at one end of the basketball court and shoot until half court. Anything after that you will degrade.

I agree; CROP! Every photo in this group would have been so much better; more action, except the very last it was OK.
