...everything

I made a phone call to an engineer friend, and asked him what he was doing.

He replied that he was working on: "The aqua thermal treatment of ceramics, glass and metals, under constrained environment."

I was very impressed.... and, to better understand, I asked him for clarification.

He told me that, in fact, "He was washing dishes in hot water, under the supervision of his wife!!!

I would expect that a constrained environment would be covered by a dishwasher.
Of course my wife would want to approve my mode of loading said dishwasher.

Absolute comprehensive clarity is sometimes vital. An old chestnut from my coal-mining days: To create an eight-feet high passage through a narrow pinched segment of the coal seam, a track-laying crew had set charges in a rock intrusion overhead. The trigger was handed to the track-laying crew's only green-hat (new guy) with the instruction: 'Yell "FIRE!" three times, then shoot it.'

The green-hat shouted "FIRE THREE TIMES!"

Cap-lamps fifty feet away were suddenly seen to make dotted lines in the murk as startled miners leapt into a cross-cut.

If a husband spoke in the woods and noone heard him would he still be wrong, apologies to the tree falling and sound

I always thought that "loading the dishwasher", meant getting the wife drunk.
