Young Red-winged Blackbird in feeding posture asking to be fed. Female adult probably saying "It's about time you fed yourself."
Or they're gossiping about the bird on another branch. : )
Nice catch.
Nicely done, it's my turn to eat.
Good Morning Joe. Cut interaction. I have never seen RWBs with that plumage. The ones that visit my yard are black.

The males are black...this is a female and a chick. Chicks are like females until they mature.

I've looked at your posts...you don't really own a camera, do you.

That post was meant to be what the one bird was saying to the other! I own a Nikon D5200, a D750, an Olympus E-500, and a Sony R-1, along with my Canonette film camera that I bought when I was stationed in Korea in 1962. What was your remark supposed to mean? And why the he77 do you have an avatar with your finger up your nose?

It's fun to watch that feeding behavior between adults and young ones. Good catch!
Also interesting is that male and female RWBs look so different, and that the fledglings look so much like the female.
Here is photo proof that the male carries his share of the feeding load! lol!
