As I mentioned, Bill... I am in China and there may be variations in the packaging. Mine was all white. If I weren't in the middle of moving, I would find it and show you how it looks. Sorry I can't.

I was surprised to see the white boxes inside the big box when I got my Z6. The last kit I bought was a D300 and all the boxes were gold and black. Either the white boxes are cheaper, or it is an effort to keep retailers from breaking up kits. Each item in the kit had its own warranty card. Big business ... go figure.

Exactly. I was really surprised when I saw the box and did in fact ask if it was refurbished. They were horrified to think that it was and I explained that the refurbs in America are generally in white boxes. This was very early production, so maybe they have changed. But, mine was white as snow.

The refurbished Z7 that you are referencing is a good deal but refurbished cameras and lenses only come with a 90 day warranty while new camera come with a one year warranty. Finally, mirrorless cameras may be more complex than DSLRs. Personally, if I were looking for a Nikon Z7 or Z6 I would take not hesitate to go refurbished.

Yes my concern too was the warranty, so I purchased 4 year warranty with B&G. Very happy with the whole transaction.
