It sure is wbchinook and that is a bison on the shore of the Great Salt Lake. Well, you sure enjoyed your time in Utah and that is good to hear. I recently posted, here on the hog, photos of coyotes photographed on Antelope Is.!!

That bison is weighing the risks of getting to some liquid water to drink rather than having to eat snow for another day for enough water to maintain normal kidney function during long, deadly cold stretches. Beautiful cold .... deadly cold! What amazing creatures those are, having continued to evolve to their “modern” state during the recent severe episodes of the ice age.
