Inspired by one of artBob's recent photographs.
Scribly gum. On the outside of a gum tree - the tracks are made by the larvae of a moth between old and new layers of the bark.

Good clarity in that shot. Nature has some tremendous random order--at least that's what I guess it is. To the moth, it's probably just order and my walking around the tree would be random. It seems even the ants are puzzled.
