What does "Culture" mean to you????

I believe that everyone should celebrate who they are and where they come from....Be proud.... I enjoy learning about different cultures than mine and appreciating history and the knowledge of where our story began and why we are the way we are.... I have a niece who is 1/2 Lakota Sioux...... She is one of the most proud people I know... She was raised on the reservation, learned to speak the language of her forefathers, is a champion dancer and a good example to her people.... She is a teacher, a coach, a mother and a wife...... Today I took her to a field and she danced for me.......

Sorry that I added so many pictures, but it was so beautiful and so much fun. She made her own costume, had the beadworking done. She said that in the type of dancing she does, your feet move like a horse and your arms move like a butterfly......

So now it is your turn.......Show me your culture..........it can be any interpretation you make... I look forward to spending the day with you and seeing what you got.....

and a song to listen to as you look

To me there is nothing more beautiful than native dancers... no matter what nationality or culture they represent. Loved the series.
