Anyone still having issues with the latest update from Apple Catalina OS.
No problems but my LR6 despite being a 64 bit app still aborts and some of the ancillary functions like backup will not work always.

Those would be problems for me. You must be very forgiving!
Everything works fine on my 15" MacBook Pro.

Works but seems much slower than before Catalina upload.
My ancient Photoshop Elements (11, I think) no longer worked with Catalina but that was no surprise and I was due for new photo processing software anyway. Based on UHH recommendations for a non-subscription program, I went with Affinity which is dirt cheap and works great with Mac Photos. I also had an ancient 32-bit airplane game that I had to kiss goodbye with Catalina but that was also expected and no big deal.
It is a problem with the program not Mac os.
My Photoshop Elements ver 15 wont work, which I knew would happen
LR6 has some components that are 32 bit so while LR6 might load some functions will fail. I'm surprised though that you can even load LR6 because Catalina detects "legacy" code modules. In fact if you go to the System Report/Software/Legacy Software segment of "About This Mac" in the Apple Icon drop down menu it should tell you if you've got any 32 bit code sitting on your machine.
My photo software worked fine, but all collaboration tools and some of the security stuff from work failed. So unstable that IT took it back to re-image and roll back to prior OS. Seems that it is still hit and miss, but IT says they are having a ton of problems with it.
