Great set. Must be really enjoying Florida Chief.
Thank you, JoAnne. Yeah, Florida is great, in the winter at least. I'm glad you liked the photos.

Ever seen a crested Bittern? First for me.
Yes, the Anhinga ate the whole thing.
And so did the Cormorant.
Chief, excellent set, again.
The bittern is amazing. Never heard of it. I like all the photos.
Hi, Katy. Yeah the Bittern is really elusive. I've been very lucky to get photos of three of them in my life. Two different ones here since we've been here this winter.
But I've never seen one with a crest or hood or whatever this is called before. I've been doing a little research about that since I got this guy, but haven't seen a mention of it in the literature so far.
Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it.
Beautiful shots! :-)
Thank you WA-bug. I keep working at it! I'm glad you liked them.
Thank you, Jack. I appreciate it.
Catching a Bittern out in the open is excellent. These are very nice shots. I am partial to the little Grebe
Terrific series! Around here the comorants are already starting to build nests.
Thank you, cloud hopper. I haven't seen any nesting here yet. Maybe I'll have to make a day trip.
Excellent photos Chief!!
Thank you, jederick. I appreciate it!
Love your set, Keith!
Thank you S-C. I'm glad you like them.
Looks like you were out ay first or lasy light.
Thanks! Yeah, both. We did the first evening drive on Friday and then another morning drive on Saturday. We were surprised to see the change in the cast of characters from early to late. I think we will do some more evening drives. I'm glad you liked them.
Enjoying Florida?? What's not to enjoy??
I agree, as long as it's winter time.
Very nice series, I love it.
