‘‘Tis the season of the approach of winter!
needles of pine quilt a soft warm blanket,
Using hushed hues of faded browns and yawning yellows
As Nature prepares its winter bed.
Northern vagabonds of wind and snow, whistle a warning lullaby
Of winter’s approach

But,
“If winter comes, can spring be far behind? “.. Percy. B.Shelley

Needles of pine quilt a soft white blanket
Needles of pine quilt a soft white blanket...

A white blanket covers the land
A white blanket covers the land...

Like these, Ann. Outback in my yard are deer trails, and into my garden. Hope that they do not eat my garlic

We've all heard it, maybe even used it: "T'is the season". The cliche can be used as an excuse, explanation for latest flu bug, or commentary on weather or the busyness of the season. I find myself shrugging my shoulders and saying "Well, t'is the season". Post your "take" on this phrase and how it applies to this season of the year for you. Here are some to start off. More tomorrow. Expecting a foot of snow over the the next 2 days. Sounds like most of us are having bad weather.

Flow Blue - I'm impressed with how many you have! I just have one piece which is just used for display with its chip hidden.

Had our first snow plow snow last eve....A combo of snow and freezing rain-trees are making cracking

noise around the house but nothing too big to worry us....Irene decided to have her 3 pups yesterday .

All's well and they are beautiful! I'll post some pix. when I get to it...
