Besides the yard next door getting the dead tree removed and the one with a dead top trimmed so they don't have perches that are both safe and a good view before coming to my feeders this guy seems to be a permanent fixture around here now. Perched on trees, cruising over on patrol, perched on the phone and power lines, landing in my yard etc. Even when I can't see or hear calls I can tell when it is around by the birds being extremely skittish.
On the 21st when the first brave dove in hours came down on the old swing set and just as I was focusing BAM! gone. Out of the corner of my eye I saw something land on the wires, turned my head and here is Henery Hawk.
80D, Tamron 150-600 @ 600, 1/250 @ f/8.0, ISO 800 with fill flash off a tripod at about 60'-70'
I think I like the head position of #1 better but #2 is just a hair sharper.
