One A Day, Day 126.
Sunday the end of the Turkey Day, first of the holidays of the holiday season.
VADA does her hookah rope dance with the light ropes.
All that glitters is not gold!
Tim, the first one and the last two are terrific. The first one, WOW what an image. The last two, love the mirror. The light rope and the chair get in the way ... but her see-thru shoes are fabulous! LOVE Vada all freshly, smoothly shaved! Great facial expressions in #1 and #4... very pretty in #4!

But! I like rope lights! there ever so much fun! But it is true, it is hard to tie up necked girls with rope lights, I just need to get more creative in the application of rope light fun. I'm working on it! They like how warm they feel!
They all have a problem with specular highlights, IMHO.
Tough to light the sparkle. Good try.

I think specular highlights are part of the allure.

Finally! Thank you for see what is there!
Yes, these are spectral highlights, the metallic effect is as tough there is molten metal resting on the body.
I will say this and no disrespect to you melismus because you are seeing what was intended and thanks for understanding what is there to see.
Putting the liquid quality of the spectral metallic effect is not easy, it requires the vision to do this. Getting lost in 'how was it done' is a wrong path. Using glitter to produce the effect is what is important. That effect is rather unique, but still it misses the fact that it has been done.
The failing by some is that they are too closed to see that the effect is intentional and that it was intended to appear as it does. When forming a critique one needs to first say to oneself "this is intentional, what does it say in the context of the image shown, what meaning is being given", instead of this knew jerk response of "the work is out of control, he has not technical skill". This is just ignorance and the reason I often do not respond to such posts.
I like the running metal and I like the rope lights and I (of course) like the rope lights in motion. So 4 and 6 give me the most of what I like. I don't want to sound like the pundits whose job it is to produce critiques on a daily basis and get caught up in the jargon that goes with it. I just say what it is that I like. Remember that imitation is a sincere form of flattery.

Thanks Vertigo, I always enjoy hearing from you, good or bad, I hear what you say and take care to see the observations that you have to make. Thanks for taking the time to give your input.
