You need to shoot raw, that is a given and no, you do not need a raw file as the D850 and D500 will try to correct the WB.
Open the camera menu
Select Camera icon
Scroll down to WB preset manual.
Select one of the six
Select manual
Set A-B to B4.0
Set G-M to G5
You should have a small black square on the top left quadrant of your screen
Press OK
You are done.
