Very nice capture. Liam has been taught how to hold his camera correctly to help stop movement of his camera. Very nice holding his arms tight to his body. Very good.

We give each of the grandchildren a little Nikon point and shoot when they turn 10. His sister likes hers but is more interested in drawing and painting - his brother also likes his but has no real passion. Liam seems to be the one with a real interest and passion for photography. I took all five kids on a walk in the woods today and he took some pretty fine images considering he's had that camera since the beginning of this month and that he's not quite 13. BTW - I'm quite impressed with that little D3500 - it has a lot of features and Liam is having a great time exploring them!

That’s great. Reminds me of my grandson, Ryan with his first DSLR. Thanks for sharing that.

The D3500 is a very good entry level DSLR, it should serve him well over the years.
