This is more punctuation, than grammar, but it's still funny. There was a similar post either here or on another forum I visit. "Big Shirley" is grandma's huge dog that frightens the girl. : )
Looks like jerryc41 joined the grammar police.
beinga grammer policeman is a vituous an rewarding career it helps usall comunikate in arespectful an cogent manner and lets the worlds writers no how to toe the line; All people everywear should be subject to the laws of grammatical excellence and syntactical jurisprudence?
I am a grammar, spelling, and punctuation NAZI. However, I don't correct every error I see, and when I do, I try to do it in a friendly and educational manner. (I don't see every error, either, and sometimes even create one myself. I hate it when that happens!)

You ain't got no learnin'
Just one thing that bugs me -- is the use of "a" and "an." I see so many people use these incorectly - and I don't understand why--- Does anybody else out there notice?

I haven't noticed a huge number of such errors. My pet peeve is folks using "less" when "fewer" would be correct.
I used to work with a secretary who refused to acknowledge that there is an important difference between the application of a and an. It was frustrating and infuriating!
I am very aware of sentences being end with a preposition, ie. What are we going to talk about?
Correction "sentences ending with a preposition "
