In Newport Beach, CA when the swells hit just right, The famous Wedge is amazing. It's very dangerous and several people have been killed here. The waves break on very shallow water and the surfer takes a risk of breaking his or her neck.

...this is a great image...one of the better ones I’ve seen...especially when you zoom in on his face and you see his intensity and concentration...there is no smile here until after the wave is over...nicely done...the ocean looks beautiful...!!!
