We recently lost our 15yr old faithful Pug companion Brutus. Since we had a void in our home we decided to give a rescue dog a try. I filled out the paper work for Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue, and they gave me a call. We did a meet and greet in Rochester, they came and checked out our home, and a week later we picked up Simone. She is a beautiful 5yr old puppy mill moma. We are so glad to have her and give her the great life she deserves.

All of our pets have been rescues. Thank you for your kindness. One family cannot help them all, but with each rescue, we get closer.

Lost our Dylan this last July (see Avatar). We still have his companion - she still pines for him - but will not take to another dog. Hopefully time will heal and we will then be able to rescue another.
You have maintained faith with Brutus and his breed - so glad for you and yours and Simone. Oh yes - and as I meant to say first off - nice picture.

In the summer of 2017 we bought a Jack Russell puppy. He was a bit rowdy . . . as they always are it seems.
We live on a ranch 25 miles out of town and hardly ever seen anybody. A couple of days before Christmas that year, a Pyrenees puppy at the same age as our Jack (named Scooter now) showed up. She had obviously been tossed out by someone without a heart.
My wife and I, not wanting two dogs, tried to find a home for the big pup we called Sunny. We just did not
want two dogs as we travel quite a lot.
I am pleased to say that God sent Sunny to us and to Scooter two years ago. And we all are better off for
it.
They talk about rescue dogs. It seems in this case at least that dog rescued us. The little Jack and the big Pyrenees sure have lots of fun. And they have made each other better dogs. And us better people.
