So the body of the camera equipment keeps changing but the lenses still fit. Considering that a good thing. Somewhere along the line the Minolta was replaced with a Konika-Minolta, but while cruising the Oregon coast one summer we spent some time in Brookings just North of the California state line. Well wouldn't you know while walking along the beach in the surf a sneaker wave took my ankles and feet out from under me and resulting in the salty drink killing my last film camera.

Both Images equally good Larry, just goes to show you that it's the person behind the camera that takes the image and not the equipment..(well equipment is a factor but not the important one)...Happy Thanksgiving Larry!

So all this stuff before brings me to 2007 and guess what....Sony bought Konika-Minolta and introduce their first DSLR Alpha 100 a little over 10 megapixels which all my optics would mount on. No brainer for me, bought it! Also updated the point and shoot for Dee to an 8 MP Cyber Shot.

Spent some time on Lake Powell in 2008 on a house boat with the the sony equipment.

we have been on that same beach in St Augustine.
when we stay over, we walk every morning in the winds overlooking the sunrise.

While going through my archives recently I realized that there were quite a few pretty decent images made with my very early point and shoot digital cameras even with their tiny mp counts. So, how about sharing your early shots (both digital and film) from 2010 and earlier and include the type of camera and mp count if digital.

Here are a couple of my early ones done with an HP PhotoSmart C200 with a massive ONE mp!!

Handsome bird. He looks a bit fierce. Bet he could crow loudly.

Thank You. He was at a pumpkin farm that we took our Grandson to a few years back. This is a shot without the funky edit. He was a beautiful yardbird

Actually, the unedited photo is still a great shot, the others, very intense. (for a chicken)
