i am getting a pretty good variety of birds at my feeders since the cool down here in Florida the smaller birds, especially the ones you have to chase with your camera. I have a woodpecker that has fallen in love with the nuts in the feeder keeps coming back and forth 3 or 4 times. Had a Jay bring his acorn drop in feeder eat some bird food pick up his acorn and leave. Living in Florida all my life and never realized that Blue Jays gather acorns off of oak trees and hide them for later consumption until I started taking pictures. Proof is in the pictures two different parks two different birds.

Thank you I do appreciate your comment. Makes me think I may be doing better with my pictures. My backgrounds are fading due to winter and heavy foliage falling off allowing a lot of back light, I don’t have a lot of room here to play with but experimenting with some sort of artificial background as you can tell with woodpecker.

The soft backgrounds work nicely!

Very clever. You achieve something I cannot yet do - taking brilliant photographs of birds!

Great set, Jerry. I have to laugh at the first image - he's got his mouth so full he might not be able to swallow. The cardinal has a coy-like expression.
