I avoid photographing people but these two portraits turned out well, IMHO.

I like them very much. I’ve never understood why people think “models” need to be young and undifferentiated, and prefer “movie star” looks and think they have to edit out every wrinkle or freckle. I think photos like these that show some life experience and personality are much more interesting. They look like really nice, authentic people.

I have tried this in B/W and sepia. Unfortunately there is not enough tonal range for a successful B/W.
Keith actually picked this one as his favourite.
