What kind of plant is this?

My wife saw this outside a store in Jefferson, TX last week and did not know what it was. I know we have some real experts on UHH when it comes to plants so I am hoping they can help me identify it. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. She took a photo with her camera and it is attached for what it looks like.

It looks like it could be one of the cacti variety. There was probably a name in or on the container.

It is from Japan, and has been long popular in the nursery trade in the US.

I believe it is a succulent, a type of “Chicks and Hens” plant.

Google, Pittosporum Plant. They are tough plants. We have had some for over twenty years.

Ajania pacifica is a synonym for Chrysanthemum pacificum. I think placing it in genus Ajania is more current.
