This is my first post here and thought I'd share a few images I captured in Big Sur CA. This is an interesting site and I look forward to the discussions and images.
Congratulations on losing your virginity (first post) in this section. First photo very artsy, other two nice models & poses. These look like scans off of prints or from slides?
Was stationed at Ft Ord for 6 months back in 60's - use to take a bus to Big Sur on weekends to admire the scenery. <grin>
These look very well photographed but I wish you can clicked on the post to include a download version so we could see a larger photo instead of small samples.
Nice work! And I love Big Sur
The top image is a little confusing to me as I can't quite figure out what the model is doing. I see a shapely breast but my eye is quickly led out to sea and out of the frame.
The middle image is spectacular! Excellent composition, classic pose, beautiful light, vivid color but not overly saturated. If I were single I would buy a print.
The two dark elements (shadows?), one down from the hand and the other off toward the edge are slightly distracting. In such an amazing image I shouldn't be wondering what they are.
The bottom image is sweet and lovely. I want to gaze at the subject longingly but the highlighted area in the upper right draws my gaze away. In my opinion it might be a stronger composition to crop from the right to make a square format.
I like your work here.

You have my vote for excellent work... and for requesting that you stick around and post more.
Thank you for the comments there greatly appreciated. The top to images where from a early canon D60, the last image was from a canon A2 and scanned.
I'll be glad to post more .

Please Micdaro,
Can we have some more ...to borrow a phrase... #2 congrats to you and your model on a classic pose and execution...
Regards
Joe
Again, the second photo here is excellent... Nice job! What an outstanding capture!
I have to give alot of credit to the models, they worked hard and we're fun to shoot with.
Yes, classic. Saw one of them [#2] on the local Junkyard wall .. the classic calendar... back in the wild 1950s.
