On the Red Bull plane, what's the yellow contraption on the end of the port wing ?

nice pics. That "yellow contraption" is a reference point the pilot looks at during aerobatic flight so he/she can tell the different angles (45,90, etc) so maneuvers can be done precisely. I have several shots of the Blue Angels and Team Aeroshell and maybe Red Bull...I'll have to check. Kirby Chamblis is pretty famous, but I don't have any pics of the Thunderbirds ;(
