Nice photo but please answer one question, for those not familiar with Rainbow Orchard/Apple Hill...where the heck is Rainbow Orchard/Apple Hill?

Turn down the clarity or the adaptive exposure on whatever HDR front end you are using. Numbers 1 and 2 are good compositions, but too crunchy.

Thanks... I was going for a bit crunchy.
Used Photomatix Pro.
I'll try out a couple other settings.

Photomatix is like crack; you just can't do a little. Try the NIX ColorEFX or Topaz Studio and the Adjust filter.
A key with HDR is to keep the original image and the processed one on separate layers so you can blend opacity to adjust the effects. For that, you need an editing program that supports layers.

Nothing Runs Like a Deere. I worked for a dealer for 10 years, service manager in the Ag industry.
Great product.
Great old girl here.

I'll try that. I can blend the Photomatix output with a layer using Affinity Photo (don't like AP's HDR as much).
But from the "artsy" side, I do tend to do more crunchy looks for old cars / vehicles. These aren't as "crunchy" but just enough to get the rust to pop out a bit more.

Ok... used the Photomatix output as a layer on top of DxO Photolab 3 raw develop to TIF and used Affinity Photo to align layers and set HDR layer to 40% plus inpainting to clear up an eye sore sign. Not as crunchy.
Could probably use a bit of sharpening...

I love the colors and the "crunchy" effect. There are people who love HDR and people who really dislike it. I love it because some of the colors are so dramatic. Thanks for letting me view your great photos.
