Very nice! Backlit Autumn scenes are my favorites! The colors just glow so nicely.

Great shot but color is blindingly too bright and saturated. I'd like to see a natural treatment. So many images ruined in (over) processing.

That's just a matter of personal taste. I like the saturated colors, and see it as enhanced rather than ruined. There's no rule that photographs must look "natural".

Very interesting image!
Difficult, almost impossible to render such a huge dynamic range without using the "HD" because whatever we do, the PP is not able to resolve.
Although, you are getting pretty close, Joe! I am happy to see you making good quality landscapes, too.
I also like the frozen crystals in the cloud, showing rainbow colors!
Happy shooting!

I wouldn't say overcooked, but rather well done.

I prefer reality, I guess you don't.

Look, I sometimes do "weird" ones too, but those are obviously abstract art or something so modified that it enters the realm of graphic art and not photography, yes that could include "photographic art". But the subject image is certainly not other worldly and begs to look like the nature it is. Most newer cameras and even a few older ones (like mine) and capture more dynamic range natively and look like traditional photographs, see Malarz's images.

I have to admit that people perceive vision differently than one another just like sound. Some people seems to require more "gain" for everything. Some people regularly listen to classical music at volumes I don't listen to heavy metal at. (And I do listen both metal and classical, and most other types of music.)
