Luminar 4
I have had nothing but problems with this program.
I finally was able to download the software and they sent me an activation code. I even copied the code and when i entered it and my email address they would not accept it.
They have the worst customer service; so i sent them an email, and now i wait for an answer.
Is anyone else having problems with this program?
I have no problems with this software company. I have three different software programs and love them. I have dropped LR and never intend to return. I downloaded version 4 of Luminar and have used it successfully, still working thru the learning curve of the update but I do not intend to ever look back.
The only problem I ever had in the past I believe was due to my outdated and slow computer, once I upgraded to a new computer the problems disappeared. My problems were not restricted to Luminar but were with other computer programs as well.

I tried to reinstall and when a launch window came up.....it frozed

Yes, get rid of it . I had the same problem and they sent me an activation code and I could not get in They won't let you talk to someone the worst customer service I ever came across. I don't need this agrivation either. The free programes are better, no problems. GOOD LUCK. Jim Bianco

Try updating your graphics driver. At first it would drop out while in use...windows suggested updating the graphics driver and I did...problem solved.

It so happens that I have been testing Luminar 3 for a few days now with no problems. I see that the release date for Luminar 4 is today, so I will install it sometime today and let you know how it goes.
Too bad about the crappy tech support, because I think the software has a lot of promise.

I was hoping for the best for what they advertise what it would do.
As of right now it is a waste of time and money.
ditto, these people make it real difficult to get the software to load wit their mulyi digit codes. really bad if you had a upgrade as you have to enter prior code. i spent 2 hours so far. btw this no uncommon. had same issue with other photo software, same issue.

I have had no problems with customer service, (except all my 'brilliant' suggestions are not immediately implemented ) responses are typically within 24 hours. Their follow-through has been good and usually about a day (see my recent posts on Luminar re: Luminar 4 as a plug-in). However, my livelihood is NOT dependent on support's response time so it's not a problem to email and get a response in a day or so.
Yes, I had the same problem, but I was finally able to get to the their main page and it worked.
The problem was with my E Mail address.

Do not try to manually enter any product code. There is always a chance of messing up a character. Instead just cut and paste.
Anyhow, if you do have an issue, there is still a long trial period that will allow you to run the product.

I have not been able to download the application. Keep getting the message " We're having trouble connecting. ... please try again. On the webcast, they said that you needed to turn off your firewall and then do the download, so I did that and I still get the "... having trouble..." and no file. I think I had this same problem with Luminar 3 and they sent me the file w/ "msi" extension. So now I wait for CS to get back with me on how to download the file because turning off my firewall does not work.
