Light Room Question

John Howard Loc: SW Florida and Blue Ridge Mountains of NC.

I recently updated to Photoshop Lightroom Classic release 9.0 and found a few differences. In LR Library mode, in the bar below the grid view, it used to state how many photos in the folder and how many selected. Even tho the individual previews have a number on them, I prefer to be able to read the amount selected so that if I want to remove an image from the drive, I know it is just one image. (I previously did not know I had selected all, and deleted my entire library. With the help of Searcher I recovered it all.)

Question - can I get that info back? And how? I cannot seem to find it anywhere in window or view.
Thanks for any assistance.

I updated too and I still have the information. It is only visible if I have the filmstrip showing. I did not see any way to make it go away other than hiding the filmstrip.

Show filmstrip f6 on mac keyboard. Or Windows>panels.

Maybe I missed it, but the OP is seeing the filmstrip, but not the information on the thin line at the top of it.

You can control what you see by looking, in the Library mode, under View/View Options.

You could also right click the offending image and choose remove image. It asks if you want to remove ftom just the catalog or totally remove it from the drive.

Thanks to all. Don't know why but it is back. And yes, I was seeing the film strip at the bottom but not the number and number selected. Playing around with the menus it came back but don't know why.
