Enjoyed the photo posted today by PixelStan whereby he mentioned a photo workshop in Arizona. As someone who enjoys travel and photography, would appreciate hearing from others on this site of recommendations for workshops or photo tours you may have given or attended.

Another self guided wild animals place in Colorado is at the Wild Animals Sanctuary. It is via a raised boardwalk.

Excellent three-day workshop last week, "Icons of Acadia" National Park by John K. Putnam of Southwest Harbor, ME.
He will also have a few one-day 2020 summer workshops for Down East Magazine, and a multi-day trip to photograph the Atlantic Puffins of Machias Seal Island.
I've gone on many tours with many tour leaders. I've also written an article on one of my websites about what to think about when booking a tour. It is on viathelens.net,
https://www.viathelens.net/finding-the-right-photography-tour-for-you.html. I can highly recommend Steve Perry (Backcountry) for wildlife, although where he goes is limited, and Gary Hart and Michael Frye for landscapes. Brent Paull Photography, called American West Photograpy Safaris, will certainly find the animal shots you are looking for. I've gone to Yellowstone four times with four different guides. Max Waugh did a good job of finding the animals there. June is a good month to go if you want to see babies. Fall is good for rutting elk if you get there before the elk leave. Rocky Mountain Photography School was good when I took a week long class there. I went with Gregory Sweeney in 2013 to South Africa and enjoyed the tour. I went to Alaska, Katmai NP, with Carl Donohue of Alaska Expeditions, and had a real adventure in the water for four days photographing grizzly bears. Sometimes you just have to try someone and see if it works, that has been my approach.

A few years ago, I attended the Great Smoky Mountain Photographers' Summit in Townsend, TN -
