Thanks for all the suggestions and welcomes too! I'll look into the constant light LEDs as they sound like a good accessory for my macro work. I don't shoot critters other than maybe butterfly or moth wings, most of my close up photography is of flowers or abstact close ups. Anyway it's nice to be in a group of helpful photographers!

Thanks to all who responded! I compromised and aquired the Olympus STF-8 Macro flash and some leds along with one Olympus FL-700WR Flash. I might add another Flash and Wireless Controller in the future. I will hopefully be posting some images here when I've mastered these amazing flashes. I'm looking forward to experimenting with focus stacking which these fashes support.

PS, I might get some older used manual focus lenses to reverse mount on the camera. I know Nikon used to make adapters that you could mount on the rear of the lens that would allow the use of filters to be used, then I could try even higher magnifications with macro flash. If anyone has info about this adapter please post it here
