Hi experts,
When you want to crop an image in Lightroom Classic, how do you make the crop vertical instead of Horizontal, which is what automatically comes up in the crop and straighten tool. Aspect ratio doesn't seem to have any effect. I'm trying to make a 10" tall by 8" wide image.
Thanks

When you enter crop mode the "x" key on your keyboard toggles between landscape and portrait orientations.

Moving the crop corner around in the crop screen will also toggle between orientations.

Beat me to the answer, just make sure you are in crop mode before clicking X. You do not want to add the image to delete file.

OK, thanks. It worked out fine.

A little information is dangerous. My third day reading about Lightroom. Yes X will designate the picture to be deleted. If you change your mind hit the X key one more time.
