The two subjects on their own wouldn't amount to much but your bringing them together and your treatment have lifted it nicely.

Great, contemplative image, except the coloration on the hand reminds me of dead flesh. What did you have in mind?

I agree. The leaf alone is a ho-hum nice photo, but adding just a hand is still ho-hum.... however making the hand into an abstract work of art hand is an eye/mind grabbing combo. Good work appearing simple while not being simple... congradulations rborud

Thanks Bob for looking, thinking, and asking. One could be a smart ass and say (dead flesh of course) but I would be wrong, I was looking for a way to move into an unreal world. I remembered an artist who works in an odd and very messy coloring method, so I went there and asked the artist to hold the leaf with the usual very messed up hands, shot down the arm, and voila what you see. I know some would make a possibly valid case for madness but in defense I love wandering in this world of abstraction. RBorud

Thanks Bob for looking, thinking, and asking. One... (show quote)

I understand your creative "handling." 👍

Nice concept and well done photograph. Personally the odd dirt on the hand detracts. The hand looks to me as if it was made to look dirty, not just got dirty.

I agree. Two uninteresting pictures combined to make one great abstract. I am curious about what you did to the hand and how.

I thank you CPR for your thoughts, I can't totally agree with, you but I have high respect for your visualizations and feelings. Thanks again for looking. RBorud

Thanks Curmudgeon for your revealing comments, as to the hand I expressed above, it may sound simple but the finding is the problem, unless one wants to pose for one's own version, God its messy.
