A few eagle pics from a round trip motorcycle ride to the Arctic Circle this past June. This is the one and only eagle i seen on my entire 12,000 mile trip , but i think he would have posed all day and night for me...lol That's wildlife i quess !

Fun stuff. I have found the young birds are much more cooperative than the adults. I call them just kind of dumb.

You were extremely fortunate to get these images. It looks as if he may have been cold & wet and trying to dry off a bit and you came at the right moment. He's a nice specimen for sure.
