Thought it was time to introduce myself since I’ve already posted a couple times. My name is Mark, a retired guy who wants to get a bit more intentional in my photography. Did 35mm from late 70’s to mid-90’s, then a variety of point-n-shoots to now. I think I’ve pushed my current p.n.s (2011 Canon SX130IS) to the point where I’m not satisfied with a majority of the images I get, or maybe I’m more picky about what I accept. I can’t remember how I discovered UHH but I’ve been visiting for a month or so, learning each time I visit the forum. With advice from a couple photographer friends, I thought I knew which camera would be my upgrade, but my eyes were opened on several hardware topics here to where I had to hit the brakes and rethink my direction.
So that’s where I’m at in the photography journey. And I’ll keep learning from all of you.

Welcome to UHH, XM. One of my first digital cameras was a Canon SX60. Great zoom on it. After e few years I realized I needed a true DSLR and I bought a Canon T5 with 2 lenses an 18-55mm zoom and a 55-250 mm zoom. It was a great switch and I love it all. I now have 6 lenses.
Looks like you will be doing something similar. Hoping to see some pics soon.
