Nikon D700 and Nikon 105 2.5 AIS lens for sale

Hello,
After much thought, I've decided to sell my D700 and upgrade to a D850 and use my D750 as my backup camera. I haven't used the D700 much in the past 4 years. I can't tell you what the shutter count is on the camera but I would guess somewhere about 25,000 clicks. That would be the high end of my guess.

The camera works as it should. The on/off button sticks slightly but I don't know anything else wrong with the camera. There is a slight scuff on the top as you can see in the photo. I am the original owner of the D700 and purchased it from B&H I think in 2012. I'm offering the camera, the battery charger, the battery and any extra batteries if I have one (I think I do) and the 4 memory cards in the photo. I don't think I still have the original box, but if I find it, I'll send it along, but again, I don't think I have it any longer.

Asking price including shipping in the CONUS $400

The Nikon 105 F2.5 AIS lens was purchased from a camera shop in Japan in 2017. I used many times in 2017 and 2018 but I seem to use the 85mm focal length now for my portraits. There is no visible fungus or haze in the lens. I used it to take photos of my grandson. It renders beautiful images. If I wasn't saving up for the D850, I'd keep this lens. It's a manual focus lens but is an AIS version. It works great on the D700 and the D750.

Asking price including shipping in the CONUS $200

Any questions, please ask. I will sell the camera and lens separately, but not the battery charger or memory cards. They will only be sold with the camera.

thanks
Mike

Thanks,
Ive kept it for many years as my backup, but I'm pretty certain I'm going to acquire a D850 right after the first of the year. I really don't need 3 camera bodies. I use a D750 most of the time now, but I'd like to try out the D850 because of focus stacking and better dynamic range. I'd use the D850 for landscapes.

I waited for a while to make the move partly based on finances and really the D750 is a great camera and even a better value now that Nikon has lowered the price to practically give away prices. I considered buying another one of those instead of the D850 or the Z7, but I'm still leaning towards the D850 since I prefer the feel of a DSLR over a mirrorless body and I have the F mount glass that I like. Yes, I know about adapters.

thanks
Mike

Thanks, br Ive kept it for many years as my backup... (show quote)

The D850 is on sale now & believe they are including the vertical grip. If you are going to wait for 2020 to purchase, you might want to wait for the spring sale they have every year.
Either way enjoy your new purchase, Tom
