Excuse Me...
Went to a different restaurant the other day and was confronted with the sign below just inside the door. We hesitated and wondered if we should go home and strap on our Glocks to be seated and maybe able to demonstrate "judicious marksmanship"?

Only when the need arises.
OMG, my Seattle neighbors would gag on their own tongues if they ever saw such a sign, even though Washington allows "concealed carry."
The indoor shooting range we go to punch paper has a little coffee shop with pastries and sandwiches just off the front lobby. Maybe that restaurant has a little firing range out back of the kitchen. The noise level was so high there we couldn't have heard any firing if there was any taking place.
One thing for sure, Texas, it will never be Luby's or any other GFZ. Place to patronize - often!
Good for them--not likely to be robbed by some thug.

Love this. Probably the safest place in town. Gary

Yes, my thoughts exactly!
Going into that place brought back long buried poignant memories from 25 years ago. As mentioned in a post above Luby’s cafeteria (near where I lived) was the scene of a mass murder back then. I had been there the day before for lunch as I did several times a week.
A friend of mine’s parent was one of the casualties causing her to run for a state legislator position.
As soon as she was elected, brought a bill before the house that was the first step in Texas adopting a law allowing the issuance of Concealed Handgun Permits to qualified residents. Mine and most of our neighbors were in the first wave of Texas residents to obtain that permit – mine had only three significant numbers preceded by a long string of zeros.
Yes, thanks for the thoughts.
