I am waiting for my car to get fixed since it broke down last week. It limits my freedom to go out to different nearby areas to take photos. Still, my camera stays with me for what opportunities I can find. Yesterday, my area of Michigan was hit with a snow storm. They first said it would end about 6pm on Monday. They have extended that another 24 hours now. I am sure we have had over 2 feet so far. Anyhow, getting back to topic, I went out on my lunch hour to get some fresh air and photos. Once downloaded, they spoke to me as good subjects for black and white, so here they are.
Yes you nailed it, very nice black and white photos!

I have found photographing snow covered subjects to not be as easy as it looks. I keep working to improve my composition ability. These photos really pleased me. Both are crops, but I am ok with that, I saw the photo, within the photo.
Thank you!

Your snow is beautiful and your camera is your good friend indeed. I love B&W and never get tired of it. I also yearn to have Infrared some day as well. Thanks for you photos. Your spirit is true to your gift.
Nice photos, Sue... Reminds me of home... Petoskey, MI. I see you are in NW Michigan, so somewhere close to my home town. 'Tis the season... Enjoy!
Very enjoyable, beautifully photographed and processed.

Thank you Blair for such kind words. I have seen others infrared photos and find them interesting.

Thank you! I am not quite as north as Petoskey but I find that town very charming.
