Wheeled myself out onto our 18th floor balcony and when looking out across the Trinity River Park at the leaves turning beautiful shades of red and yellow I noticed a handful of white blobs. Looked like a batch of mushrooms as are sometimes seen in lawns after a nice rainfall.
Taking a photo and opening it in the PS Ele 15 RAW processing option then selecting Auto Adjust I could clearly see those white blobs were canopies set up for some sort of gathering. Opening the file in PS Ele's Guided Workflow option I cropped and resized it – the indicator said plus 216% to fit the laptop screen.
Looked on MapQuest to see the scene was 3 and ½ blocks west of our building.
Nice set-up but seems to be vacant at this time.
Then after dark the place became alive with partygoers. About 9 p.m. we were all treated to a lengthy and lively fireworks display with the bursts going off level with our balcony elevation. This was a whole new perspective, always before we’ve had to stain our necks to look up to see the beautiful displays.
