I want to dry mount my canon pro 100 prints on acid free board using a dry mount press. There are many dry mount adhesive films available but non specify digital printing paper or the appropriate temperature..Anyone with dry mounting experience??

I dry mount everything, usually to foam core. Foam core comes in various thicknesses and either regular or archival grade. With foam core inspect it carefully. Make sure the surface is in perfect condition. Any little imperfection will show up on the print with dry mounting. I use DK expression, Colormount dry mount tissue that I purchase in rolls (24.5' x 150') from BH photo. This is permanant mounting. If something screws up you have to start with another print and a new sheet of foam core.

Thank you I assume I can use regular mounting board. Are any of the adhesives available in sheet form. I only wanted to mount about 20-24 8x12 images

BH and others sell dry mount tissue in boxes at various different sizes.

I use a polyester dry mount tissue from Hunt (I think). I have a Seal press. It's set to 200 degrees, and I time it for a minute thirty. Works pretty well.

When I started printing off my Canon 100, I purchased a special cover sheet designed for digitally printed images. It's a stiff almost cardboard consistency board that has special coating. I honestly don't recall what it's called. I've used the same board for many years.

I set it on the floor with a weight to cool.

I forgot about the none stick mounting board. You’ve got to have that. Also it’s easier to mount on a board too big and trim later. It’s hard to line everything up if you try to dry mount exactly.
