Google thermite. It is used, for example, to weld sections of railroad rail in the field. A reasonable quantity of thermite would easily burn through the wall, and water will not extinguish it.

I'm sure many of the Guatemalan immigrants carry thermite with them as they travel through Mexico.

Subject: Border Wall El Paso, TX - Impressive work by contractor

This shows what can be done and how quickly it can be accomplished.

Extremely impressive.

THE WALL WAS BUILT BY FISHER INDUSTRIES:

Everybody in America Should See This

If you've been following "We Build the Wall" (private donations and on privately

donated land), you're probably aware of this unbelievable project that the Army

Corp of Engineers said couldn't be done (including 315 ft. of vertical grade from

18% to 31%). But they did it start to finish in 10 days--cost between 5 and 6 million!!

Look at what the Fisher Company got done in 10 days!! No way our liberal press will

ever show this. Building this fence, in those conditions with the infrastructure in place

is amazing. It proves things can happen quickly if people work together, but our

Congress doesn't want this out!!

Please sent this to as many people as you can. People need to see what can be done.

This is what can be done for National Security in just 10 Days of professional work...

which is being held up by Elected Officials who have no interest in American Security!

The wall that was scaled by the kid was a set up photo shoot. She had help scaling it and it did not have the other intrusion detection devices the real wall has. Read a book.

When they read a book they are proven wrong so the avoid it like the plague.

I'm glad that my thermite post furnished so much amusement.
Those who bothered to Google thermite would have found that it is composed of powdered aluminum and iron oxide. When thermite is ignited - by a magnesium ribbon, a propane torch, or a common sparkler (easily bought in fireworks stores) - it burns at around 4,000 F, well above the melting point of most generally used metals. Since the mixture furnishes its own oxidizer - the iron oxide - it can't be put out by water. It will destroy concrete.
Producing thermite for Guatemalans or others who wish to cross the border might be a cottage industry for entrepreneurs south of the border. Google furnishes the instructions for making thermite - not difficult - and has videos of thermite in action. Note that thermite is far safer to t***sport than, for example, gunpowder.

It boggles the mind how so many find objections to building the wall and yet they have no concrete plan of their own to offer up as a suggestion to stop the influx of i******s. We've had the illegal crossing problem for years and years and Congress has never gotten off their keisters, done their jobs and done anything to stop it. Time for change! We need term limits now!

The issue is those not wanting a wall are dems and they do not display clear thought patters, someone needs to tell them how to think.

Then I suppose the heat generated would become the number one target to light up the infrared radiation detectors along the border.
