Assembled this gadget to use when searching for subjects when using super telephoto lens and camera tripod mounted. With AF activated and cable release used it is easy to move to the point of interest and not accidentally change any settings and/or cause as much vibration

All needed was a wooden drawer pull and short length of closet rod. Run all thread through leaving enough length to screw into camera's threaded socket.

Sorry but hard to see what it really is when it is in the shadow.

I intended it to be a silhouette because the shape is all I wanted to show. Thank you for the comment.

I'm sorry I have no idea of what that is from the photo or description.

But it looks like it's a long way down so I hope the mounting is secure.

So you want us to know that you have a gadget but you don't want us to know any details about it?

The description is not very clear on what and how it does whatever it does.

Guess it could be in a photo by itself but the only other part that would be seen is the 1/4" all thread sticking out a quarter of an inch to allow its attachment to the camera - if the view was from that perspective. Whoops, low battery indicator, gotta shut down.

Looks like you're attaching a wooden handle to your tripod socket. The long lens is mounted on the tripod and the camera is mounted on the lens. The handle probably gives you something to use to move the camera/lens without depending on the short lever on the tripod. I'll guess that the dangly thing is a remote camera release so you don't have to touch the camera after you get things lined up.

Not sure what your objection is to showing details.

ROTFLMFAO !

Stooooooooopid thread. "Device"
certainly does NOT qualify to be
referred to as a "gadget". Bogus
click bait at best.

Those who need such a grip have
been using them since god was in
diapers. My first one was a leg off
a discarded sofa. 1/4-20 is a very
common fastener.

Perhaps the OP has fallen into the
clutches of one of the patent scam
"inventors' enablers" outfits.

Should be a way to mark some topics on the forum as a waste of time before we waste our time.

Either of these would work for this, plus could be used for their original purpose:

Together, very handy for shooting low to the ground.
