nope, I have dyscalculia, diagnosed later in life, sure explains a lot

In Photo#1, the thought ... what microwave frequency do those antennae operate at?? Certainly looks like a dipole. Tinusbum, Could it be that the Texas Republican Party is checking loyalty with these smart bugs??

Your excellent photo shows how intriguing nature's design is.

#1 is a planthopper, possibly a nymph. Possible family is the Derbidae, which are known to often have very large and weird antennae.

It is nice to see the Globbies taking full stage again, 5:1 shows just how tiny they are. Thanks to Mark for the Plant hopper ID, I haven't seen a photo of one like that before.
