I recently purchased a new laptop and it won't allow me to properly install my Spyder5 Pro device. All seems to be in order with the software until I go to the drop-down and it asks me to select my sensor. It wont allow me to select S5P. I went into my device settings into the USB controls and it doesn't appear. I emailed the manufacturer and they sent me a link to reinstall the software to no avail. It wont even allow me to enter my code. Any help will be most appreciated. Thank you.

Just things I thought of quickly.
Have any antivirus software running? Temporarily disable it. Run the software install as an administrator.
I can't remember if you have to install the software first before connecting the S5P, check that too.
