My sister was always amazed when I would take a seeming blah image and go searching for a small section to enhance and make the main subject. This was taken coming down from Craggy Dome on the Blue Ridge Parkway ..... she saw the whole rockface, I saw the plants growing in the rocks.

I love these little ferns - we have them, and other miniatures, growing in an old stone wall leading to our home. Quite fascinating little things that seem to cling to life on next to nothing. Always worth a look at the detail Bob.
