All great shots! I can see why it is hard to choose... I like 2,5,1,4,6 ...Something about the moma amd baby that really caught my eye... :)
#2 and 4 are my favs.
#2 because the photo itself is more rare and #4 because of the creativity.
#1 first, because it is just nearly perfect-the composition is right on, nothing distracting in foreground or background, and so, so sharp! Plus, is that bird posing or what!
#5 is nearly as good to my eye-the detail is exceptional.
#2 is also really a great shot, but the grass in the foreground is a little distracting. Otherwise, just as good as the first two. Can you do anything in PS to remove it?
#3 is a nice shot with good detail, but the composition is not as striking as the first three.
#6 is also a nice shot, but kinda static.
#4 really isn't doing for me, it's well done, but the railing and the post seem undramatic for such an overpowering moon.
Arnold, hope I didn't offend you, these are just my opinions, for what they are worth. I always enjoy seeing your work-it gives me something to strive towards. Your bird pictures are always stunning!
I think I like #2 the best followed by 5-1-3-4and6

I want to thank everybody for taking time, and providing me their selection of photos for my upcoming photo contest. Arnold
Here goes.
I like 4 the best because it is an unusual shot, I feel like everything leads you out onto the balcony into the moon light.
2 next because it tells a story. Again not your ordinary shot.
1 next. while I agree with lizard works I don't think it is as eye catching.
5 and 3 last while I would give my eye teeth to take ones like that these they don't grab me like the others.
That is just my opinion they are all wonderful that is just the order I like them in.
2, 5, 3, 4, 6, 1
And do you KNOW how hard it is to get a Gemini to choose a favorite of so many AWESOME choices!!?? ;)
Is there a theme to the contest or any other clues as to what the judges might like to see?
#6.
#2 is almost perfect if the itip of thhe wing is not cut off.

Shaky, There is no theme for this contest. Our camera club refers to it as Open Theme, so anything is acceptable to enter. Also we don't know who the judges will be. Arnold
