Very appealing sense of serenity and quiet. Do you have deer or turkeys or any other critters?
Linda, most of natures locally indigenous critters wander through these woods. Deer, turkey, fox, raccoon, opossum, skunk, chipmunk, mice, snake, toad, flying things with stingers, hawk and eagle.

Oh, one more BEAR
Except for the flying things with stingers, I'm envious

It's getting to far along toward winter but I've been sitting out in the evening enjoying a libation (and an occasional cigar) and watching the locals wander by. The bears, not that often, but enough to be a nuisance as they seem to know which day of the week is garbage day. The bees aren't really any trouble at all. We sit about 5 feet away from some of the plants and they're constantly buzzing around. Once you get use to that you don't pay them any attention.

Can’t get around much anymore but once in a while an opportunity comes to me. I saw this one recent morning as I nursed my 1st cup of coffee.
I can easily imaging you sitting on a porch or patio with that cup of coffee and picking up the camera next to you just because what you are seeing and experiencing needs to be recorded. I totally get it. Erich
