Does anyone know anything about a company called "mpb". I am looking for a used Canon camera, and their prices are lower than anyone elses, and they seem to have more stock than any place else...Just wondering if this is too good to be true..any info would be appreciated. They can be found at mpb.com. Thanks

I had a similar suspicion. Seemed too good to be true. Better condition, lower shutter count and cheaper.

I've done business with MPB 3 or 4 times without problems. The only issue I've had is that they're a little stingy on the amount they pay for your gear. But then I remind myself that they have someone clean it and make sure it's good to go, not to mention how fast these things lose value. If you have questions about a piece be sure to read the additional info and if your still not sure call them. hope this helps

They buy and sell used gear same as KEH although in my opinion are a cut above. Used them about 5-6 times to sell gear. All went well and their process for payment takes less time.

I've used the MPB UK site a couple of time to purchase secondhand lenses and have no complaints. The last lens I purchased was as as new Sigma 180mm f2.8 OS macro, complete with original packaging and case. It cost £800 instead of about £1400. Brilliant lens and definately as described. I would certainly purchase from MPB again.

Traded with and purchased from MPB.com several times with very satisfactory results. Their grading system for used gear is conservative.

MPB is a good and reputable service. I think they originated in the UK but have been in operation here for a couple of years. I bought a used camera from them and was very happy. Tried them and KEH to sell a couple of lenses, but I found I did better on eBay.

The only problem I have with them is trying to remember their name.
